Privacy overview
Cyber Guard Solutions Team (“CGST”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects privacy and aims to handle personal information responsibly and transparently. This policy applies to cyberguardsolutionsteam.in, CGST security enquiries, newsletter subscriptions and related CGST India services. The separate assessment platform may collect additional engagement information required to deliver authorised cybersecurity services.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with CGST, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, organisation or business name, and other contact details you submit.
- Security-enquiry information and communications.
- Newsletter subscription status and consent timestamps.
- Assessment requests, authorised asset information, scope information, findings, remediation and support communications where relevant to a security engagement.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, security logs and information reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, troubleshooting and service reliability.
- Transaction references, payment status, amounts and invoice/receipt information when a paid service is used.
2. How we use information
- Operate and improve CGST websites and services.
- Respond to security enquiries and support requests.
- Process authorised assessment requests and manage engagement workflows.
- Send newsletters or communications you requested and manage unsubscribe status.
- Protect CGST systems, investigate abuse and maintain audit/security records.
- Administer legitimate transactions, accounting and dispute handling.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where appropriate.
3. Security assessment data
Cybersecurity assessments can involve sensitive information about domains, applications, infrastructure, vulnerabilities, findings and remediation status. CGST intends to perform security assessment activities only within an agreed and authorised scope. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have sufficient authority to request assessment of the assets they submit.
Access to assessment information may be restricted according to account permissions and operational requirements.
4. Analytics, bot protection and technical tools
The public website uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand website usage and improve the experience. These services may process technical and usage information in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used on public forms to help detect automated abuse. Security and anti-abuse processing may involve technical request information such as IP address, browser signals and challenge results.
5. Service providers
CGST may use trusted providers where reasonably necessary to operate its services. Current production tooling may include:
- Supabase — database and server-side application infrastructure.
- Resend — email delivery and newsletter audience management.
- Cloudflare — DNS/security services and Turnstile bot protection.
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity — website usage and experience analytics.
- PayU — payment processing where a paid assessment/service uses that payment flow.
Information is shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary for the relevant service, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. Cookies and sessions
CGST services may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, preferences, fraud prevention and analytics. Necessary session/security technologies may be required for parts of the service to operate correctly.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including service delivery, security/audit records, dispute handling, accounting and legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information. When information is no longer required, CGST may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it as appropriate.
8. Account and data requests
Subject to applicable law and legitimate security, legal and record-retention requirements, you may contact CGST to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with you. Deletion requests do not necessarily require immediate deletion of information that CGST must legitimately retain for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, legal compliance or dispute resolution.
9. Information security
CGST uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. No website, network, transmission method or information system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. International processing
Some service providers may process or store information outside your state or country. Where applicable, CGST seeks to handle such processing consistently with applicable requirements and appropriate safeguards.
11. Children’s privacy
CGST services are primarily intended for businesses, organisations, professionals and other users capable of entering into the relevant service arrangements. CGST does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children where parental or guardian consent would be legally required without such consent.
12. Third-party links
The website may link to independent third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

CGST may update this policy when services, technology, legal obligations or data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
